I have a 1984 815 sse with a VP AQAD40b 165hp on 280 leg. Can anyone advise me what size prop I should be fitting as:
1 - Have tried 15 x 17 which cavitates badly in following sea and does not achieve planing and no more than 15 - 16 knots
2 - Have also tried 16 x 17 boat planes at around 25 knots ...

Does anyone know the gelcoat colour code for the above, and the manufacturer. I have had a drifting boat hit my port side and the repairer would like to know this information to get a colour match, also would it be available in the U.K.

Well got her home without incident, and proceeded to strip out the main cabin of all removable woodwork. Have removed all the linings except for the remaining foam on the starboard side of the hull, discovered that there leaks also from the windscreen fixings self tappers???. Therefore ...
