I have a Fjord24. I would like some recommendations on how to check the Seacock?
When do I know it's time to replace a Seacock?
Thanks

Re: Seacock
Hello
It looks like the hull fitting is above the waterline so it would´t be that critical but if the hull fitting is the original and 30 -40 years old and it´s located under waterline I would definitly change it. I use to check hull fittings by give it a tap with a hammer on in and outside and if it don´t show any sign of crack it will probably last another year until next inspection. But if you are in doubt, just change it, is my advice.

Re: Seacock
Yes, there are 3 hulls above the waterline.
The water intake is the only one below the waterline. Believe it's the original.
Thanks for the answer.
