Change old Fittings - paint?

I am in the process of changing an old fitting. The plan is to install a new TruDesign skin fitting.
I have used the grinder to remove the old paint.

But I might have removed to much.. I see the glassfiber now.

I assume that I can just install the fitting using silkaflex 591.

But the question is, what is the recommended way to repair the area outside the fitting.
The boat is painted with International Antifouling Sealer.

But should I use something else (primer/expoy) on the glassfiber before using the Antifouling Sealer?

I decided to go with Hempel epoxy primer.

Good choice of sealer and primer.

Use several layers of primer, and coat on top. Sikaflex only on ready surface. Primer is the key to make it waterproof. I have found PU paints to be good top layer, they are like plastic.
