Fjord 38 generator

I have recently purchased a Fjord 38 that has a G & M Power Plant generator driving a Markon alternator. The generator is out of the boat & works well. The alternator, on the other hand does not work & blows voltage regulators.

The wiring in the generator control box has been altered over the years & maybe the source of the trouble. I do not have a wiring diagram to check it out.

Does anyone have a copy of the wiring for the G & M control box.

Any help appreciated.

Hi john, we recently became members of this distinguished club, and i saw your question this very moment. We also have a Fjord 38 AC, with that very same power plant. With our boat came the complete instruction manual, including the wiring diagram.

In case you have not already solved your problem, please let me know, and i could send you a copy.
